I checked the rules and think I'm allowed to do this...
I have an idea for a fic that I've been trying to write for a while, but I just can't seem to get it right. But, I still really would like to read such a story, and it frustrates me that I can't do it myself. So I'm throwing it out there and hoping that someone else is looking for a plot bunny.
So...remember that episode when, in Superheroes, Ryan was Uncontrollable Erection Boy? (I've forgotten which episode it is, sorry)
Anyone fancy taking on the challenge and writing a schmexy erection-plagued Ryan-centric fic?
I'm going to keep trying, but I'm working on some hard-core smut that's taking up a lot of my free time :-)

Hope this isn't breaking any rules. Anyway, I was on Ryan's Wikipedia page three days ago and realised someone had 'updated' it. But now it's gone back to the way it was before. I don't understand why they deleted the updated part though. Its not like it was false information or anything. Lucky I copied and pasted it while it was still around XD Here it is, just in case you want to see. Slash IS mentioned.
Ryan's best friend is his fellow comedian, Colin Mochrie. According to Mochrie, one reason Stiles doesn't tour with Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood is that Stiles suffers from aerophobia.[citation needed] Because of his close relationship with Mochrie, he's often rumored to have a secret love relationship with him. Some Whose Line fans pair many of the improvisers from Whose Line together in numerous icons, fanfictions, and other forms of art, called slash. Ryan Stiles/Colin Mochrie seems to be a favorite pairing of Whose Line fans, though not the most predominant one. It is often known as 'Stochrie'.
It made me smile at the time ^_^

Oh, that exam went so badly. I'll be amazed if I even passed.
But you never know, and I can always retake it next year after I've had more time to revise, so it's all good.

Hey kids, I have a bit of a predicament and was hoping someone might step up to the plate.
During the finals of my last semester, I made the mistake of going, "HAY! I've got five papers to write - I SHOULD TRY TO TEACH MYSELF VECTOR ART!" So I started a vector of Greg and Wayne - mostly because the quality of images in this fandom are unfortunately a bit crap and I was simply desperate for a high res image. So anyway, I got a good start on a Greg/Wayne vector from a pre-existing image I found, but now I really don't have the heart to finish it. Here are a couple screencaps of where I left off, and if anyone more experienced with vector (or isn't and wants to try it) would like to have the PSD file sent to them, I'd be happy to shoot it over. My only request is that if you finish it, you cite it as a collab and list me as one of the artists. The one artistic thing I have done for this fandom thus far has been posted to fan sites without any citation and it kind of pissed me off.

| Making a FAQ |

I love input, so I'm shoving this out there for all y'all. I think we should have a FAQ for this comm. And it would include the regular stuff, like how to do an lj-cut and etiquette when posting art or fics and just general netiquette stuff as pertaining to icon crediting and things like permission and stealing. But there's probably a lot more that I'd never think of to put in there. So if you're new or if you once had questions that didn't have readily available answers upon entering this comm, throw them at me now, and I'll try to compile a decent FAQ. ^_^
Or if anyone else would like the job of compiling and posting said FAQ (we all get off on doing different things ^_~) go ahead and let me know.
Also, I wanted to take this moment to pimp something that was posted over a year ago, but that newbies might not know about but may have interest in: Anoel's Whose Line Slash Demographics Poll Which can currently be found and referenced in the comm's sidebar. Here you can vote for your OTP and see how it compares to others who are/were in the fandom.

Um... Hello! I'm a real newbie (seriously, i only made my LiveJournal account last night) and i'm also real nervous. I'm not very computer literate (I had to get my friend to set up my msn for me because I didn't get it) so I'm hoping I don't break any rules and get booted out :( I'm kinda confused at the moment and may need a little time to find my way around but I'm hoping this will turn out to be a lot of fun :) Anyways I've been lurking here for a while and thought it was about time I said something. I am feeling SO much more confident about my maths exam tomorrow! My tutor took me through all the things I was feeling unsure about last night, and today everything just seems to be falling into place in my brain. I'm still having a little difficulty with learning the formluae for coordinate geometry, but everything else is fine and dandy. ^_^
The problem with this exam isn't so much the maths side of it, which I can do fine - but rather the way they word the questions. Sometimes it takes quite a while to understand what they're asking you to do, and then it takes even more time to pick out the relevent information to use in your answer. My real fear about this exam is running out of time; I tend to get bogged down and frustrated when I don't understand something, rather than move onto something else and go back to it later.
Still, I'm now feeling confident about this exam, and my tutor said he's pretty sure I'll get at least a B (and if I revise my ass off today, I may even scrape an A, which would be tres awesome!).
I may be back later to post a few slash icons to wliialove, but other than that I won't be here again until after my exam, so wish me luck! (And prepare for an onslaught of icons, vids and fics as I use my rusty creative muscles :D)

By the way, if anyone on my flist is doing revision, or just needs some calming music, I recommend '74-'75 by The Connells. I've been listening to it non-stop during my revision, and it's helped greatly. :) |
